A pair of sculptural residential towers in downtown Miami featuring flowing, faceted facades that rise from a crystalline podium of luxury retail and public spaces along Biscayne Bay.
Developed for the Jabil Group on a prominent downtown Miami site along Biscayne Boulevard, the project introduces two slender residential towers whose facades dissolve into flowing, organic vertical forms. Shaped by a language of sinuous folds and faceted glass surfaces that catch and refract the South Florida light throughout the day, the sculptural massing tapers and splits at the crown of each tower, creating a distinctive silhouette that evokes natural formations translated into architectural expression.
Podium & Public Realm
The podium base anchors the towers with a bold crystalline geometry of large-scale triangular metal panels, establishing a dialogue between the fluid verticality above and the angular faceted surfaces at street level. Glazed retail storefronts are carved into the podium’s folds, activating the streetscape along palm-lined sidewalks while an elevated public plaza on the podium rooftop provides landscaped gathering spaces with geometric paving and sculptural planters. The interplay of brushed metal, reflective glass, and warm interior lighting gives the base a jewel-like presence that draws visitors from the surrounding neighborhood and the adjacent waterfront.
Residences & Views
Within the towers, the residences are defined by expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing that frames panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the marina, and the greater Miami skyline. The interior spaces are designed with a restrained material palette that allows the architecture and the views to take center stage. Situated along the waterfront boulevard with direct visual connections to the bay and the city, Flagler Towers positions itself as a landmark that merges the energy of urban Miami with the ambition of contemporary architectural design by Asymptote Architecture.
