Organized across a series of landscaped terraces and circular garden platforms carved into the natural desert topography of Qiddiya, the stadium complex brings together multiple venues — ice sports arenas, a domed main arena, outdoor activity zones, and large-scale event spaces — within a unified landscape strategy. The central dome, clad in a vivid rainbow mosaic of hexagonal and circular panels, serves as the visual anchor of the composition, visible from across the surrounding terrain and establishing the complex’s identity within Qiddiya’s broader entertainment district.
Architecture & Interior
The architectural language of the complex blends organic, fluid forms with advanced structural engineering. Sweeping white facade panels with undulating, sinuous curves define the entrance experience at ground level, while overhead, enormous canopy structures supported by tree-like branching steel columns provide shade and shelter across the public realm.
