Developed for the Equine Real Estate Group, the Penang Global City Center (PGCC) addresses the island’s need for a centralized civic and commercial district capable of hosting international conventions, cultural events, and high-density urban living. The masterplan organizes residential, hospitality, commercial, and cultural programs around a legible public framework that prioritizes pedestrian experience and landscape connectivity.

The design organizes a series of high-rise towers, convention facilities, hotels, and retail environments around a network of public plazas, landscaped parks, and pedestrian circulation routes. Civic Heart & Skyline
A central convention and cultural complex forms the civic heart of the development, supported by hospitality and retail programs that activate the district throughout the day and evening. The towers are carefully positioned to frame public spaces while maximizing views and establishing a distinctive skyline presence for the new district.
