FluxSpace 1.0
Interactive Video Installation
A multimedia installation at CCAC Institute utilizing computer and projection technologies in tandem with a built artifact equipped with touch sensors — 'virtual buttons' projected onto its surface activate video projections and soundscapes that alter the appearance of the artifact and create the effect of fluctuating physical states. A Capp Street Project funded by the CCAC Institute Artist in Residency Program.
A multimedia installation utilizing computer and projection technologies in tandem with a larger-scale built artifact equipped with touch sensors. These “virtual buttons” are projected onto the surface of the object and activated by the gallery occupants. These in turn activate a series of video projections and soundscapes that alter the appearance of the artifact and create the effect of fluctuating physical states.
