A multimedia installation utilizing computer and projection technologies in tandem with a larger-scale built artifact equipped with touch sensors. These “virtual buttons” are projected onto the surface of the object and activated by the gallery occupants. These in turn activate a series of video projections and soundscapes that alter the appearance of the artifact and create the effect of fluctuating physical states.

Materials

Multimedia video projection units, computers, heat-sensitive receptors, plaster, lathe, and wood.
