The SO/ Budapest Hotel is nearing completion on the Pest embankment of the Danube, at the foot of the Chain Bridge and opposite Buda Castle — one of the most prominent sites in the Hungarian capital.
The hotel reads as a contemporary intervention into a historically dense urban frame, its sculptural circular facade calibrated to the proportions of the chain bridge approach and the surrounding 19th-century streetscape. Opening soon.
