The SO/ Budapest Hotel is nearing completion on the Pest embankment of the Danube, at the foot of the Chain Bridge and opposite Buda Castle, one of the most prominent sites in the Hungarian capital.
The hotel reads as a contemporary intervention into a historically dense urban frame, its sculptural circular facade calibrated to the proportions of the chain bridge approach and the surrounding 19th-century streetscape. Opening soon.
