INTERNI Magazine, in collaboration with Italy on Madison and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), hosts Design, Theater of Excellence — a public talk on the evening of Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 33 East 67th Street, New York.
Hani Rashid joins the panel as one of three architect “sparring partners” — alongside Marc Fornes (Theverymany) and designer Nao Tamura — opposite three industry entrepreneurs: John Edelman, President of Haworth Lifestyle North and South America; Gabriele Salvatori, CEO of Salvatori; and Andrea Sasso, Chairman and CEO of Dexelance. The conversation is moderated by Carlo Biasia, INTERNI Architect.
The evening opens with an introduction by Erica Di Giovancarlo, Commissioner in New York and Executive Director of ITA Offices in the United States. The Italian Design Day 2026 testimonial is delivered by Gilda Bojardi, Editor of INTERNI Magazine, on the theme “Re-Design. Regenerating Spaces, Objects, Ideas, Relations.” A video greeting is provided by Paola Navone (Architects, Designer / OTTO Studio), whose project with Cristina Pettenuzzo and OTTO Studio (Douglas Legg, Lorenzo Nevi, Duccio Campo) anchors the evening’s design conversation.
