Chor House

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
The architecture of the Chor House, inspired by the powerful and elegant sculptural works of great Brazilian sculptors and architects, is a project designed as a work of timeless sculptural form.
Design Concept
This architecture merges landscape features and natural elements with masonry, Corian, and other building materials and components. The Chor House sits in its context in harmony with its
surroundings while its roofscape covers and protects a private home beneath. The architecture consists of a vast open-air interior courtyard and gardens set into the very heart of the city of Rio De Janeiro. The architecture celebrates the inherent beauty and elegance of the Brazilian landscape and the unique and extraordinary vitality and ever-changing atmosphere of Rio. The buildings' roof forms create a surreal and unexpected juxtaposition of landscape and architecture.
